SPACE PLANNING
Space Planning is an integral part of every project. It starts with an in-depth investigation of the site, as well as an analysis of your vision and the desired function of the project.
Space Planning will determine the various zones and flow of activity within the space. We will work with you to design a space that maximizes returns per square foot, and determine what is most comfortable and efficient for you, your home, or your business.
SCHEMATIC / CONCEPT PLANS
The shape of the project will begin to take form, but the specifics about materials and details will come later. Schematic Plans are rough CAD drawings that offer a general overview of spatial relationships. In this process, we turn ideas formed into physical drawings that we can look at. Clients will be presented with a floor plan along with images, hand sketches, 3D renderings, or interior elevations to help visualize the size, shape, and relationship of the spaces. These drawings can be used to start a conversation with a General Contractor.
Concept Plans contain all the information included in the Schematic Plan plus design notations, as well as preliminary elevations, materials/finishes, lighting and so much more.
PERMIT / CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
Full Construction Drawings contain all the information included in the permit set of drawings along with full specifications, detailed elevations, millwork details, and so much more.
Our Construction Drawings will provide a graphic representation of what is to be constructed. This allows the contractor to not only estimate a cost for the project but also execute it. There will always be on-site changes and decisions that will have to be made, whether due to site conditions or other variables, but a good set of drawings will be detailed enough so that the contractor can build from them.
PROCUREMENT AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
We engage with our vendors and suppliers to purchase products to furnish your space. This Interior Design Service ensures all items are ordered as specified + arrive on time. Our trusted relationship with our suppliers enables us to deal with any unforeseen issues quickly. We work closely with all parties throughout the project to be sure that all elements come together nicely.
EXTERIOR MATERIAL SELECTION
We assist with the selection and allocation of materials. We are allllll about that curbside appeal.
